Buffalo Grove is a village in Cook and Lake counties in the U.S. state of Illinois, within the northern suburbs of Chicago. As of the 2010 census, the village population was 41,496. In July 2009, Buffalo Grove was listed at No. 65 on Money Magazines “best places to live” list. In 2013, Buffalo Grove again made the exclusive list ranked at No. 46. Throughout the village, there are a number of various business parks. The village president is currently Beverly Sussman. Most of the village is located within the 10th Congressional District of Illinois, though the southern portion is represented in the 8th Congressional District.
Lincolnshire is a village in Vernon Township, Lake County, in the U.S. state of Illinois. The village is a northern suburb of Chicago. The population of Lincolnshire was 7,275 at the 2010 census. Lincolnshire is home to the public Adlai E. Stevenson High School and to the schools that compose the elementary Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103. It serves as the headquarters for corporations including the global outsourcing company Aon Hewitt, and is the base of operations for the Newman/Haas Racing team. The village has a council–manager government and is a home-rule municipality. The mayor of Lincolnshire is Elizabeth J. Brandt.
