Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Founded - 1972 Chartered by the State of Illinois - August 7, 1975
The Chamber serves as the principal leader for plans, strategies, programs and services benefiting our membership by promoting the favorable business climate and values of our community.
In order to achieve our mission, the Chamber will continue to be the model of an efficient and effective business, offering programs and opportunities that support our membership. We will strive to remain on the leading edge of technology, communicate clearly to our membership, and be the voice of the business community in the greater Buffalo Grove area.

NIBAC - Northern Illinois Business Advocacy Coalition
To act as a grassroots lobbying organization for member chambers of the Northern Illinois region. NIBAC will engage in issues-oriented strategic and tactical programs in government relations on the State, County, Regional and National levels.
NIBAC will achieve this purpose by developing and executing programs that inform and educate its members and advocate for and against legislation that impacts on the business community of Northern Illinois. NIBAC will identify, quantify and communicate to its membership, key State, County, Regional and National business related issues and provide programs to address those issues identified as either beneficial or detrimental to the business community of the region.

The charge of the members belonging to the NIBAC Coalition includes—identifying, publicizing and advocating legislative and public issues affecting the Northern Illinois business community regarding the following issues: o Transportation - including The Star Line, East-West Corridor, Air Transportation and Route 53 Extension o Workforce - inclucing Health Care, Critical Workforce Shortages, Immigration Reform, Affordable Employment Insurance (WC), Education and Minimum Wage o Taxation - including New Tax & Fee Increases and Education o Infrastructure - including Telecommunications, Utilities and Technology o Economic Development - including Collaborations with the Northwest Municipal League, Chicagoland Chamber & other entities and Travel & Tourism
